As president of CAD Graphics for 27 years, Michael is the facilitator on nearly every project. In the pre-production phase he works closely with every client, indentifying the goal and coming up with the best course of action. He then turns the project over to his able staff and vast network of experts to get the job done right and on time.
“From Day 1 my goal has always been to give my clients peace of mind, knowing they can turn a project over to me and have full confidence it will be completed accurately, professionally and as fast as possible,” he says. “One reason we’ve been in business so long and have had success with so many clients from every area of business has been our ability to always stay true to these goals.”
After graduating from the University of Toledo with a degree in political science and international affairs, Michael joined the convenience store industry, where he was employed 20 years, including seven years with Open Pantry Food Mart Corp.
He founded CAD Graphics in 1986. The company was one of the early pioneers in the field in northwest Ohio. The company later expanded into graphics design and other services.
Michael lives in Maumee, Ohio, with his wife, Mdellaly. They have two sons and three grandchildren. When he’s not working, Michael enjoys tennis and photography.
John’s forte is creating technical drawings and diagrams for our clients utilizing AutoCAD technology. He has an extensive range of abilities and the intellect to handle everything from 3D and conceptual drawings to site plans of often extreme complexity. CAD Graphics’ clients benefit greatly from John’s expertise.
“I enjoy the challenge of designing complex installations and devising communicative graphics for our clients,” he says. “The power of drafting in AutoCAD is you can figure something out in your computer quickly and know it’s right rather than spending a lot of time and money in traditional drafting where there’s significant guesswork.
John is a native of Big Rapids, Mich. He holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Oregon.
Prior to joining CAD Graphics, John worked at Anderson & Dabrowski, a Portland, Ore., architecture firm. He lives with his wife, Michelle, and goldfish in Toledo’s Old West End, where he’s currently renovating a 100-year-old home.
Laura handles all of CAD Graphics’ website and print media design. She also develops our pre-product print setups, handles print to digital conversions and post production photography and video editing. Laura is an accomplished photographer as well.
Laura loves the variety of her work at CAD Graphics. She also enjoys working closely with our clients to make sure every project is done right.
“We provide a very personalized service that’s fast, accurate and very effective. It’s always challenging but it’s also fun,” she says.
A native of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Laura graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Visual Communications Technology. She lives in Waterville, Ohio with her husband, Jeff, and two whippets.
